CYCLING THROUGH LIMBURG

In Haspengouw in Belgium we are spoiled with the wide range of beautiful cycling routes, along which there is much to see, experience and taste. We are located right on the cycle route network, so you can leave immediately.

Het Hemelsveld is also a recognized cycling accommodation with e-bike rental. We have 12 high-quality electric bicycles and 4 e-bikes for kids (€35 per day). On request we can provide a tasty picnic lunch for the road (€25 p.p.). Plan your route using the cycling maps or routes already mapped out from Het Hemelsveld!

You can also store your own bicycles safely in a locked bicycle shed, charge your electric bicycles free of charge and we will help you with roadside assistance in case of a defect.

Castles, forests & orchards

This route takes you past the most beautiful places in and around Alken. Discover the hidden castles, drive through the fruit orchards and dive into the woods... Epicureans can end the cycling tour with a visit to the Wideux Wine Estate with a wine tasting!

Cycling through the Water

During this unique cycling experience you ride more than 200 meters straight through the water! Rural roads take you through the forests of Bokrijk on this route. On the long route you will also get to know the 'Land of 1001 ponds' and C-mine up close.

Artistic Borgloon

The Haspengouw landscape offers more than just nature: discover several surprising life-size works of art on this route: Helsheaven, the Doorkijkkerkje, the Tranendreef and more...

Kidsroute

Out and about with the kids? This bike tour takes you past the best places where children can enjoy themselves: Domain Nieuwenhoven, Domain 't Speelhof and Playground De Alk. The Lake Blossom Bath is also recommended!

Alden Biesen & Wine Castle Genoels-Elderen

This cycle route takes you along green roads past the impressive Grand Commandery Alden Biesen and the equally beautiful domain of Genoels-Elderen wine castle. Here too, wine lovers can take a tour with a tasting at the castle.
